The Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism Association (HVWTA) is a ‘not-for-profit’ membership based incorporated body that works in partnership with both Cessnock City and Singleton Councils. This alliance is a union between all stakeholders that speaks with ‘one voice’ and is proactive in sourcing the required levels of funding through the appropriate Government channels.

The HVWTA is responsible for destination and wine marketing, advocacy, technical and business support for all facets of the Hunter Valley wine and tourism industries from viticulture through to winemaking and tourism and wine promotion.

The Kurri Kurri District Business Chamber was first established in 1913 to lobby for essential business facilities such as banking, telephone and other services.

Today the business chamber continues to lobby for business and the community to ensure that the Kurri Kurri district doesn't miss out on opportunities for economic development.

The Centre, located at 251 Lang Street, is the hub of the Kurri Kurri community. The Centre is run by a dynamic group of staff and volunteers under the guidance of Kurri Kurri Community Services, a successful not-for-profit charity that has provided community based programs and wellbeing services since the 1980’s. The Centre @ Kurri Kurri offers a large and diverse range of services and programs to people of all ages.
