Hunter Region Business Hub provides new and existing micro, small and medium business clients with practical assistance in business planning, advice on marketing, budgeting and cash flow.

The assistance offered by the Hunter Region Business Hub is independent and confidential. Fees are cost-effective and affordable. The Hub can assist in the areas of the establishment of new small business enterprises and existing small to medium enterprises who are experiencing issues, want to grow , or just want to be better.

Businesses can also take advantage of numerous business workshops and information seminars to assist in the development of their business.

Hunter Region Business Hub also facilitates networking events and opportunities to encourage the growth and support of the business community in the Maitland, Cessnock, Dungog , Singleton, Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter local government areas.

The Hub contains a Business Hub that houses up to 28 units either in office, commercial or light industrial premises. Businesses enjoy economical, easy-leasing arrangements with business mentoring services “on tap”.

The Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism Association (HVWTA) is a ‘not-for-profit’ membership based incorporated body that works in partnership with both Cessnock City and Singleton Councils. This alliance is a union between all stakeholders that speaks with ‘one voice’ and is proactive in sourcing the required levels of funding through the appropriate Government channels.

The HVWTA is responsible for destination and wine marketing, advocacy, technical and business support for all facets of the Hunter Valley wine and tourism industries from viticulture through to winemaking and tourism and wine promotion.

The Kurri Kurri District Business Chamber was first established in 1913 to lobby for essential business facilities such as banking, telephone and other services.

Today the business chamber continues to lobby for business and the community to ensure that the Kurri Kurri district is able to maximise all opportunities for economic development.

The museum is a family-friendly, attractive bushland setting off Leggetts Drive, Richmond Vale, approximately 4km south of the Hunter Valley township of Kurri Kurri. It is the only operating heritage railway north of the Hawkesbury.

We are open on the first three Sundays of each month, and every school holiday Sunday, with the gates open from 9.30am. The site offers the following attractions: unlimited full-sized train rides, miniature train rides, child accessible signalling activity, historic films in the mining museum, picnic tables,canteen and souvenir shop.
