Kurri Kurri Farmers Market
Kurri Kurri Farmers Markets were an initiative of the Towns with Heart in conjunction
with the Kurri Kurri Girl Guides who worked together producing the first market
day in September 2003. 
The markets have continued to operate monthly coordinated and organized by Kurri Kurri Girl Guides helping to raise funds for the local group.
A visit to Kurri Kurri Farmers Market on the second Saturday of the month will give you the opportunity to purchase farm fresh produce harvested ready for purchase on the market day. The markets commence at 8.00am in Rotary Park which is located in Lang St opposite the Kurri Workers Club with the Rotary Van onsite ready to serve up the early shoppers with their ever popular egg & bacon rolls. Combine that with a freshly made coffee and you are set for a search of the market stalls to select fresh fruit direct from the orchards, and vegetables that been freshly harvested for the market day. Fresh and potted herbs, plants, and seedlings at very reasonable prices to assist you with your own planting program, with lots of friendly advice from the individual stall holders.
Quality homemade preserves, sauces, and dressings to add to any well stocked pantry, a delight to the gourmet or everyday cook, also an extensive range of olives and oil products. Many of these items are available for tasting allowing for you to experience ranges of varied products that at times have left you only imagining what they taste like.
An extensive range of natural soaps with selected fragrances will make it impossible to avoid the temptation to stop and take in the natural fragrances, with other stalls selling body wash, and pampering potions to revitalize your body and soul. Each month we have a selection of quality handcrafted items made by individual stall holders. Shoppers have the opportunity to participate in the Lucky Shopper draws that are drawn randomly throughout the morning in the market place.
